Thanks to starwars.com we have a few new morsels of information on the upcoming J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars episode 7. Unsurprisingly as pointed out by IGN the film will be set roughly 30 years after the conclusion of The Return of The Jedi. The story itself is set to focus on a brand new trio of younger characters with “very familiar faces” also set to appear. Whilst we’ve not had any concrete casting news it’s likely safe to say that these familiar phases could be the likes of Mark Hamill, Harisson Ford & Carrie Fisher but we’ll have to wait and see.
Beyond the few new teases which many would already of guessed at it’s also been revealed when principal photography for the movie will commence. The film set for a December 18th 2015 release will go into full production from this May onward so prepare yourself for a barrage of casting news, set photos and plot details.
We can’t wait for the next instalment of Star Wars especially with the film being set after the excellent original trilogy! Are you looking forward to the new film or is the lack of concrete details making you skeptical?
