If you’re yet to pick up on the news on twitter, Empire magazine have started releasing images of a run of 25 limited edition X-Men: Days of Future Past covers with a new one dropping every hour. The run of covers showcasing brand new imagery and characters from the upcoming movie. Alongside shots of many of the already known and seen cast there have been new reveals such as the Sentinels as well as Toad.
The total run of 25 covers will be released over the course of the day, Bryan Singer’s twitter feed is also featuring some of the links as they are revealed online. X-Men: Days of Future Past is in cinemas from May 23rd this year, with the follow up X-Men: Apocalypse scheduled due to arrive in cinemas several years later in 2016. Rumour has it that X-Men: Days of Future Past will set up the events of Apocalypse. An exciting premise for certain and it’s great to see more linked continuity in what is already a fantastically realised and excellently developed world.
