Crystal Dynamics the developer behind the much loved Tomb Raider series has today at E3 revealed that they will be bringin us a brand new instalment in the series and a sequel to the critically and commercially acclaimed 2012 series reboot Tomb Raider. The new game titled: Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to arrive in the holiday season of 2015.
The debut trailer as revealed at E3 shows a highly distressed and disturbed Lara undergoing therapy after the traumatic events of the previous game. Alongside this the character is shown exploring enormous caves and quietly dispatching enemies with a bow. It teases us that there is plenty to come for our budding adventurer, with Lara defining her experiences forcing her to “become, who we’re meant to be”. This is shaping up to be very exciting indeed.
