After a long period of silence a director has finally stepped out into the light to take the helm of the upcoming Assassins Creed movie adaptation.
Anyone familiar with the project will know that Michael Fassbender is set to star in and produce the movie. Given the phenomenal acting chops of Fassbender in roles such as Magneto, we might be in with the chance of a high quality game to film adaptation.
Now with the rumours courtesy of Twitch Film that Daniel Espinosa director of Safe House is set to take the helm on directing duties, we could certainly be in for a treat. Espinosa is currently working through the post production for his upcoming movie Child 44 which stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Gary Oldman and Joel Kinnaman.
The Assassins Creed movie is currently scheduled to open on August 7th 2015.
