In a surprise bit of news Marvel has officially announced a partnership to bring us a new franchise of games based around the Avengers in collaboration with the creative talent of Square Enix. Set to be developed by both Crystal Dynamics, the minds behind the incredible Tomb Raider series and Eidos Montreal most well known for their excellent modern Deus Ex games. It bodes well for the potential of something truly special offering a rich game design heritage to a franchise that just screams for quality games.
