Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen recently revealed that he is without doubt planning on bringing Flappy Bird back to the App Store once more. As reported on IGN, Nguyen when responding to a question regarding would the game ever return on twitter replied “yes, but not soon”.
The creator had originally removed the title after it rocketed to surprising success with it’s challenging gameplay and high difficulty. A surprise considering that the game was reportedly netting it’s creator somewhere in the region of $50,000 dollars worth of as revenue. When asked about the reasoning behind its removal Nguyen cited both he overwhelming fame and pressure from the games fans and in turn how addictive it had become with them.
With the game soon set to return, will you be giving it a fresh effort to see if you can bear your old high score or has Flappy Bird well and truly warn out it’s welcome with you?
