If you’re not one of the many gamers who’ve updated to this years iteration of the ever popular Call Of Duty franchise, Ghosts, then this weekend you’re in for a treat. The demo of the multiplayer portion of the game as reported by IGN and revealed on the Playstation Blog will include 3 of the games most popular multiplayer maps:
Strikezone: Set in a baseball stadium in war-torn San Diego, this small map is ideal for close-quarters combat. Complete a field order for an opportunity to call in a KEM strike, which will transform the landscape of the entire map.
Warhawk: Taking place in a small american town, this three lane map caters to many different play styles. The main street can be a convenient rush route, but beware of enemy snipers in the buildings on both ends.
Prison Break: Fight in the jungles on this map located outside of a prison. A large hill dominates the central portion of Prison Break, a crucial area for your team to hold in the fight for victory.
The demo gives you the opportunity to play three fan favourite modes Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Rescue. Just to fully complete your gaming options, the exciting and unique extinction game mode is also available in the demo. Allowing you and three friends to team up and battle your way through a Colorado town full of aliens.
The demo will be available over the bank holiday weekend from May 2nd until May 5th. If you don’t own Call of Duty: Ghosts already then this certainly seems like a great opportunity to try your hand at it’s multiplayer.
