Anna Paquin’s Rogue will be in X-Men: Days of Future Past

Not long ago it was rumoured that Anna Paquin’s Rogue character had been cut from the final edit of the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past due to their not being the ability to comfortably include her character’s already filmed scenes within the films ever increasing running time. However, as revealed today over at IGN it seems that Anna Paquin will indeed be in the movie.

A spokesperson for 20th century fox has mentioned that whilst she will be in the movie the scene in which she is included is “Essentially, a Cameo” but as pointed out it’s still great to see that she will be included in the movie as one of the original on screen X-men, even if it is as a very minimal part. It does beg the question of course, given (Spoiler alert) the removal of Rogues powers in the not-so-great X-Men 3 as to what abilities she’ll have if any and how that’ll link into the future portions of the film!?

X-Men: Days of Future Past looks set to be an explosive mix of interesting characters and high octane action. The recently revealed 3rd and final trailer for the film certainly attests to that! Are you as excited as we are for the upcoming movie?
