Yeah, we’re talking about the one and only GOAT Simulator.
Based on the rather bonkers trailer above, this is no doubt set to light the internet wild with Goat themed gaming hilarity. With plenty of endorsements from the scene including the likes of famed games blogger PewDiePie it’s popular appeal could sky rocket. The game itself is available to preorder from the developers site over at www.goat-simulator.com for the princely some of $9.99. To further assert the games utter silliness it will be available on PC from April 1st.
The entertainment here may not last you that long, but for the slim price you’ll no doubt get a few hours of hilarity to keep yourself busy. With that in mind the game’s developer has issued the following disclaimer:-
“Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. I t was made in a couple of weeks so don’t expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats. In fact, you’re better off not expecting anything at all actually. To be completely honest, it would be best if you’d spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat.”
If that reverse psychology style disclaimer doesn’t automatically win you over then it’s safe to say that GOAT simulator might not be for you. I’m as of yet undecided it looks likely to be great fun for about 30 minutes, so can I justify the price of a good lunch on it… maybe. No, I change my mind it’s definitely worth the price of a good lunch. Bring it on GOAT Simulator!
