Xbox One price reduction takes it even lower in the UK to £329.99

It would seem that Microsoft are once again attempting some aggressive pricing action with their Xbox One console in the UK. Likely to counter the continually increasing share of the market that Sony’s Playstation 4 is eating up. After their previous reduction and removal of kinect it really is rather surprising to see yet another reduction so soon.

This new £329.99 price tag is the third price drop in less than a year in the UK, with the console (including Kinect) having launched last November for £429.99. Following on from that earlier this year Microsoft removed Kinect from the box reducing the overall price to £349.99 in line with Sony’s Playstation 4 price.

At the moment you can already pick yourself up the Xbox One console for £329.99 direct from Microsoft’s online store, which gets you the base model without Kinect or any games included. That said however, larger retailers including the likes of Amazon have already begun to price match with Amazon offering the rather lovely looking White Xbox One with Sunset Overdrive bundle for the same price – an absolutely brilliant deal.
