After last week’s intriguing first look debut trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie there’s been lot’s of discussion both on the new look of the Turtles themselves and the slightly darker tone the movie possesses in comparison to the previous TMNT movies and cartoons. Whilst likely unrelated to all this discussion it has been revealed today via IGN that the movie will be entering reshoots this week. As pointed out in the article this is common for most big budget movies and given that leading lady Megan Fox was pregnant during a large chunk of the original shooting schedule it’s likely that these reshoots may be for her to film some of the more high octane scenes now that she’s given birth.
What do you think of the new TMNT look? Many feel the new design doesn’t really hark back to the classic Turtles that many know and love. Personally we think the new design’s smart but perhaps a little too aggressive. We’re happy to be surprised by the movie though and can’t wait to see the end result in cinemas soon.
