Last week we got a number of different looks at what we expected to be Will Smith’s Deadshot costume for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. The first it turns out was simply nothing more than Will Smith’s Deadshot’s street clothes and the second more humorously turned out to be a fan dressed up amid a set invasion. But now, we’re finally getting to see his actual full costume and we must admit we’re very pleasantly surprised, the suit looks fantastic and that mask is just straight up awesome, check it out below.
This new Deadshot costume is very comic book faithful and we’re loving how it looks on Smith. The mask is spot on and the targeting reticule as part of it looks excellent too, the body armor fits the overall look well and that mask gives a sinister feel to the overall costume.
It’s been a great week for Suicide Squad reveals so far, the full cast has been revealed dressed in their costumes with a mixture of awesome and not so great efforts. We’ve recently had a look at Jared Leto’s Joker and now this excellent standalone look at Will Smith in full costume really keeps the momentum going. I wonder if we can expect to see more of the other cast members over the coming week as production ramps up on the movie, we certainly hope so.
