The Elder Scrolls Online release date and new editions

With the phenomenal Skyrim, the gaming world was blown away. Bethesda had not only improved but practically reinvented their fantastic 1st person RPG format, creating a world so vast that you could get lost for hours on end. Unlike many large RPGs it was content rich and you were never short of a new adventure to have.

The premise of playing within this ever evolving universe online and with other human players is enticing. This will be the first time the rich world of Tamriel has been realised in an MMO style game. Set to launch April 4th for PC & Mac with both Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions set to follow shortly after in June.
Amazon is seems have inadvertently now revealed one of the special editions that players can look forward to if they intend to preorder and purchase the game on release. The imperial edition contains a host of fantastic content including a 12″ statue of Daedric Prince Molag Bal, a 224 page fully illustrated artbook, a full world map of the elder scrolls online’s Tamriel as well as plenty of extra exclusive digital content all wrapped up in a huge display box with the game itself in steelbook packaging. Sounds great to us, though looking at all that content we wouldn’t want to speculate on the price!
