The BAFTA Game awards 2014 winners!

The annual BAFTA game awards 2014 have now taken place and the winners have been announced. The largest and most notable of the winners was the consistent favourite of many from 2013 The Last Of Us. It took home a huge 5 awards including best Action & Adventure, Best Audio, Best Game, Best Story and a notable Best Performer award for Ashley Johnson who portrays the character Ellie in the game.

It’s also great to see more high quality Indie games beating out some of the big boys for the coveted awards with the likes of Paper, Please getting the Best Strategy award. Tearaway and Grand Theft Auto V also win big with 3 awards each. It’s great to see such critical recognition for Tearaway a fantastic game from the brilliant Media Molecule creators of Little Big Planet considering it’s otherwise lack of real commercial impact.
