Spiderman could join Marvel’s Cinematic Universe in 2018’s Infinity War: Part 1

Latino Review, commonly known as one of the most reliable sources for breaking the news on big upcoming superhero movies has shared some tantalising information that claims to outline the fate of Marvel Cinematic Universe all the way till the end of Phase 3 including the aforementioned inclusion of everyone’s favourite webhead Spiderman.

There’s plenty of information to read through and as the team over at IGN suggest, be careful as there’s some definite spoilers in there if this all turns out to be true. Needless to say, an extract from the article suggests that Spiderman will be joining the MCU when discussing Avengers: Infinity War, stating “Spider-Man IS in, the Sony deal went through”.

While this rumor has of course been denied by the team over at Sony Pictures calling it an “old rumor” with “no validity whatsoever” it’s definitely very intriguing and one to keep a close eye on. If you want to check out the full piece (be warned of spoilers though) head over to Latino Review.

What do you think to the possibility of Spiderman finally joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, are you as excited about what this could mean as we are? It certainly leaves a lot up in the air and we’d really love it if Sony could work with Marvel to bring Spiderman to the MCU in a unique way that gives us real fan service. We’ll see what happens but keep checking back as we’ll have more as soon as we hear it.
