In an unusual turn of events for Nintendo as reported by IGN, the gaming company is set to reduce in price some of it’s most popular first party 3DS games this April 22nd. The following titles will be dropping from their current RRP in the US of $39.99 to a 25% cheaper $29.99, if a similar reduction is replicated in the UK expect to see these titles dropping to the £25-£28 region. Which is great value given the ever inherent high quality of Nintendo’s first party games.
Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will all be receiving the price reduction. This includes the 3 best selling 3DS games of all time in the US so represents fantastic value. These titles will receive reductions both at retail and on the 3DS eshop.
