As odd and unexpected as it may be, we are in fact getting a movie version of the unique Pride and Prejudice parody novel ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’. The book written by Seth Grahame-Smith was something of an unusual genre mash-up satire combining the classic period drama with horror elements.
Whilst the trailer starts off with the feel of a period drama it quickly ramps up to gives us a taste of the horror and action elements of the upcoming movie. It’s certainly an interesting concept that could prove to work well, mashing two very different but loved genres together to create something completely unique.
