Thanks to IGN with a lead from an apparent insider over on NeoGaf, Rumours are surfacing that Microsoft has several new iterations of their newest home console the Xbox One already in the works. The original forum post suggests that the previously Microsoft Xbox employee only brilliant white Xbox One will be available following the release of Insomniac’s Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive in October. The Verge has been able to verify from separate sources some of the information confirming that Microsoft does indeed have the intention to bring a white Xbox One to the consumer market this year.
Several other models are rumoured including a limited edition 1TB model available in November, we’d speculate on a first year anniversary edition if this is the case. The other big rumour is of a completely Blu-Ray drive free model that would be replaced with a bluetooth adapter and the below picture Titanfall special edition. Of course these are only rumours so take this with a pinch of salt. I’ll be honest though that white console does look pretty cool!
