New Avengers Lego Hulkbuster set reveals movie plot spoilers

We’re going to put this front and center before you read any further, there’s a definite plot spoiler coming if you continue reading so avoid scrolling down if you’re looking to enjoy Avengers: Age of Ultron spoiler free.

So early product listings on Amazon Germany and Amazon Japan show us both what we can expect to see in the upcoming range of tie in Lego sets for Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as plot details for those scenarios. Of course there’s no guarantee that the action that these sets depict will be beat by beat the same as that in the movie but we’d certainly expect them to be fairly close given the tie-in.

We’ll be doing a full set analysis of the other sets that have been realesed on the site soon but for now we want to take a look at the Hulkbuster set which focuses on one of the most talked about scenes we expect to see in Avengers: Age of Ultron in which many expect Iron Man and the Hulk to face off against one another. Check out an image and description of the Hulkbuster set below SPOILERS to follow:-

“The Hulk Buster Smash: Hulk has been trapped by the powers of Scarlet Witch and she is ready to fire an electrical bolt if he tries to escape! Place Iron Man in the cockpit of the humungous Hulk Buster’s arms and legs to create fearsome battle poses and grab the villain with the powerful hands. With Ultron safely in the mechs grip, attach Iron Man to his Super Jumper. Then take out Scarlet Witch with an accurate jump and free the imprisoned Hulk! Includes 3 minifigures with assorted weapons and accessories: Iron Man, Ultron and Scarlet Witch, plus a Hulk figure.”

So it certainly seems that the often discussed rumours that Hulk may well be under psychological control are true and furthermore it looks like we’ve confirmation that Scarlet Witch will be the one controlling him. Could this mean that Scarlett Witch is working with Ultron or could she and her brother Quicksilver be caught in the crossfire unaware who to side with after their torment at the hands of Hydra? It seems we’ll need to wait until the movie’s released to find out for sure.
