Over the course of this year’s San Diego Comicon Marvel slowly released a series of individual character posters for their upcoming superhero team up epic Avengers: Age of Ultron. When put together these character posters become the epic debut poster for the movie featuring Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye and newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch. Check out the fantastic image depicting our heroes against what appears to be un-defeatable odds below.
We love this debut poster and think it’s an excellent introduction to the potentially overwhelming challenge that will be faced by The Avengers in the movie. You’ll notice as well that Paul Bettany’s character in the movie ‘The Vision’ can be seen in the background to the top left of the image. In the comics, The Vision is a creation of Ultron that turns on his master and eventually joins The Avengers. It seems almost certain that this image implies the team will be at a loss without his support when it comes to facing off against Ultron’s ‘Iron Legion’.
