It’s been a long time coming given the not too distant release of the movie but we’re finally being given our first look at this years Inbetweeners 2 and an idea of the kind of horrendous antics the gang will once again be getting up to. With the film set in Australia and focussing on the majority of the gang travelling over to join Jay, who is there on a gap year, we can expect plenty of chaos, bad jokes and Jay showing the guys what a gap year is all about. Or at least what he thinks it is.
The trailer is unsurprisingly chock full of jokes, with plenty of them hitting the mark and only a few weaker moments. It’s great to see the characters back together sharing a screen, it seems the chemistry still remains and we can expect the dynamic of the previous films and tv show to continue. From Jay’s mobile virgin conversion unit to Simon’s ever persistent girl troubles, the characters are back in full force.
Will the Inbetweeners 2 be able to live up to its predecessors and provide a new dynamic and something fresh from the characters or should we expect more of the same albeit in a new setting? Either way, prepare yourself to be shocked, appalled and to let out some laughs when the film hits cinemas this coming August 6th.
