Recent rumours have been circulating on a potential new adventure series, Game of Thrones.
Telltale games have recently confirmed the rumours surrounding the development of a new adventure series. Reportedly, Telltale are currently working on an episodic series based on the popular television show, Game of Thrones.
A teaser trailer was played during the Spike VGX awards, displaying the HBO logo and the theme of the original television version. The lack of details prove to be difficult when predicting the features of the game, the only thing clear is that the main inspiration originates from the television series.
Further details of this adventure game are yet to be confirmed. Characters, voice actors and the main focus of the storyline are yet to be released to the public.
Platforms haven’t been specified, however previous Telltale episodic game series’ were first released on the PC and later on consoles and iOS devices. It is likely that Game of Thrones will share the same path as its predecessors.
The game will likely play in similar fashion to Telltales’ previous adventure series’, featuring the signature point and click gameplay with strong choice and consequence that Telltale has become known for.
Telltale are currently working on the development of Game of Thrones, the next season of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among us and Tales from the Borderlands.
