After yesterday’s huge Batmobile teaser image, Zack Snyder director of the upcoming Batman Vs Superman has taken it a step further today by unveiling not only more of the Batmobile but our first look at Ben Affleck’s Batman. As shown by IGN take a look at the brand new, somewhat awesome and rugged looking new costume below.
A lot has been said regarding the new Batsuit, with Jennifer Garner claiming the suit to be “Unbelievably Cool” and now we get our first true look at it. It’s interesting to see that the usual prominent chest plate bat symbol is far more blended into the suit than any of the previous iterations we have seen on the big screen. Given the black and white nature of the image it’s quite difficult to discern the finer details of the suit though it’s clear that the oft mentioned smaller ears are indeed part of the new cowl.
It’s also great to get a more in depth look at the new Batmobile, whilst yesterday’s teaser image gave us a clear look at the reverse of the vehicle, today’s presents us with a look at the cockpit. It’s fair to say that this new Batmobile looks somewhat far removed from that of the Tumbler in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy harking back to the designs of Tim Burton’s Batman and the comics.
