Activision have released an exciting teaser trailer for their upcoming Exo-Zombies mode which releases on January 27th for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The trailer gives us an idea of the backstory of the new mode, narrated by the wonderful John Malkovich, which explains how the Atlas Corporation have caused this transformation into what Malkovich describes as a “Freak Show” by dropping a bomb with hopes of finishing the war. Clearly that wasn’t the case.
You can see the full teaser below which features very brief glimpses of the confirmed movie star cast of characters that players will get the chance to control in the game mode. These include the likes of the aforementioned John Malkovich as well as Rose McGowan, Jon Bernthal and Bill Paxton. See if you can spot them in the following teaser trailer.
So that’s a pretty exciting teaser even if it doesn’t really give us a great idea of what the gameplay will entail, though we’d guess it’ll be something of a tweak on the well known formula we’re all used to. I’ve got to admit those Exo-Zombies look pretty damn threatening with their enhanced speed, here’s hoping not all Zombies will be equipped with them. What do you think of the trailer?
