Take this one with a pinch of salt as there seems to be very little out there to confirm the news but according to Summerfest‘s artist listing bio for the very awesome Brand New they are currently in the studio working on their fifth studio album. The bio on the page reads as follows “Brand New is an alternative rock band from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2000, the band consists of Jesse Lacey, Vincent Accardi, Garrett Tierney, and Brian Lane. The band has released four studio albums to date and is currently in the studio working on their fifth.”
Whilst it’s important to note that there is little to confirm this news, Brand News last studio album ‘Daisy’ was released in 2009 so it is highly likely that the band are soon to put out a new record with it having been almost 5 years since their last. As a huge Brand New fan i’m hoping that we’ll certainly be seeing some new music from the band very soon.
