We’ve all been eagerly anticipating more footage from the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice after this year’s short but delightfully intriguing initial teaser and it seems Warner Bros have gone out of their way to send fan excitement through the roof with this epic new trailer. Released to the public at this years San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) the trailer gives us a great look at Ben Affleck’s Batman, his motivations for taking down Superman and a lot of hints about the kind of Batman we can expect to see in this new cinematic universe.
At an extra lengthy 3:39 this trailer is huge and jam packed with awesome content to get our heads around, we’re loving how the trailer shows us that the movie is strongly tied to Man of Steel, with Superman being shown on trial for the devastation in that movie. Furthermore, highlighting Bruce Wayne’s plight and showing that he himself was there at the ground level of that event with his own offices seemingly destroyed, really solidifying his motivations to get back in the bat suit and take down Superman.
Finally we get to see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in action, showing off what appears to be some impressive and unique skills unseen in the comics. Given the power of Superman, could it be that Wonder Woman may help be the deciding factor in this conflict, given that Batman is no more than a mortal man? It looks like we’ll have to wait and see.
