It’s quite obvious to say, but, just like the PS4 Microsoft’s next-gen juggernaut packs quite a few awesome exclusives. The most apparent being the recently released Titanfall which has launched to great reviews and shown it’s stature as a real contender in the next-gen market having helped double sales of the Xbox One upon its release. Of course there’s plenty more amazing exclusives including the likes of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3.

5. A thriving online community

Whilst there are plenty of restrictions to the Xbox One when you don’t have an Xbox Live account the up side is that when you do there’s a rich and thriving community of gamers out there to get involved with. With quality server support and what seems like endless people up for friendly (and not so friendly) online gaming on the big hitters like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Fifa and Forza you can certainly sink your teeth into some excellent competitive gaming at the drop of a hat.

6. Engrossing second screen features

The Xbox One’s unique smartglass second screen technology that allows you to use your mobile and tablet devices with certain games, really provides an even greater level of engagement, bringing more exciting and new gameplay experiences to the console. Alongside this Smartglass provides you with a host of other features including the ability to control your console directly from your mobile device allowing you to browse and select features on the console and control apps like Netflix and Xbox Music.
